Photo and age verification
A selfie with two gestures requested on the spot, analyzed inside the server itself: the answer is immediate and the badge sits on the photo that matched, not on a generic medal.
How it works
The system draws on the spot a sequence of two gestures among turning your head to the left, to the right, looking up and smiling. The challenge is valid for two minutes and works a single time — that is what stops a video recorded earlier from being reused.
The captured images are compared with the photos on your profile and used for an age estimate.
Nothing leaves the server
The biometric analysis runs entirely inside the API process, with local models. No byte, no biometric vector and no result is sent to an external facial recognition service.
If the verification is approved, the selfie is not even written to disk: only the result remains.
The answer is immediate — and a refusal is a refusal, not limbo
There is no human review queue. Every submission ends approved or refused on the spot, and a refused attempt can be redone. The system was built precisely so that nobody is left in an "under review" that never ends.
The reason for the refusal is given in categories — no reference photo, face not found, gesture not performed, different face, insufficient quality, apparent age below the allowed limit. What is never returned is a score or a threshold: publishing the scoreboard would teach whoever wants to cheat how to calibrate the next attempt.
The badge belongs to the photo, not to the person
When the verification passes, the badge sits on the specific PHOTO that matched the selfie, along with the month in which that happened. The other photos get no mark at all.
That is on purpose: an honest photo may fail to match because of a haircut, the light or the passage of time, and marking those photos as suspicious would be a false accusation. The system publishes what it established, and stays quiet about the rest.
The badge can be revoked
If the photo that served as the anchor is deleted, or if the profile's main photo becomes a face that does not match it, the badge is revoked. You can verify again.
Age
The platform is exclusively for people over 18. The age estimate works with a safety margin: it has to indicate room above the legal limit to consider the case settled, rather than accepting a result right on the line.
