# ParLocal

> ParLocal (https://parlocal.com) is an 18+ dating and local-social platform built on one inversion of the usual order: the conversation comes before the appearance. People meet inside interest and neighbourhood communities, talk first, and decide for themselves when — and to whom — their profile is revealed. Available in 3 languages.

## What ParLocal is not
- Not an advertising surface: there are no ads in the main experience.
- Not an anything-goes space: harassment and hate speech are banned, fake profiles are not allowed, and moderation combines automated tooling with human review.
- Not an autonomous agent platform: the AI acts only within the autonomy level the member selected, and it identifies itself as AI in every conversation it joins.
